WHAT IS A CHANNEL LETTER?
You may not know what channel letters are, but you’ve seen thousands of them. They’ve gotten your attention, too—that’s what they do best. Channel Letters are used by businesses to identify their location. Most commonly, channel letters are two to six inches deep with solid, often black, sides. The forward-facing surface of the letter is usually a white or colored translucent material that can be backlit. The light-up letters stand out night or day and make it easy for passers-by to identify your building.
TRIM CAP VS. TRIMLESS
Traditionally, face lit channel letters have a plastic trim cap glued to the edge of the face. The trim cap slides over the edge of the returns and is then secured with screws. LED Sign Solutions also offers a trimless edge, which offers a cleaner, more sleek look.
